Pens win - Series tied 2-2 Gonchar hurt

Big win - Big win - Big win

Can I stress it anymore than that?

Now the Caps have to listen about ghosts of playoff past....hehehehe
If people were wondering if the Pens had the momentum after the last victory - now there is no doubt.

Ok - enough of the love-in - lets get to business.

Ovechkin hit Gonchar on what looks to be a deliberate knee on knee hit. Gonchar couldn't get up, and when he did, he couldn't put any weight on the leg.
After the game, Caps coach Bourdeau said "Ovechkin led with the shoulder, but he missed"
Is this guy retarded...? Seriously...

Coach Mickey Rooney - I mean Bruce Boudreau is now officially my second most hated person in the NHL.....it's one thing to stand up for your players - I get that....but to do it the way he does just makes me - and probably a lot of other normal people just plain mad.

After the hit on Gonchar, I was hoping the Pens would runaway with the game so someone whould retaliate on Ovechkins face.
The NHL wants to make an example out of this kind of bullshit - suspend Ovechkin for at least one game.
If it was a 4th line player, you know he would be suspended.

It was good to see players other than Sid, and um Eaton score. The play that I enjoyed the most though, had to be Satan's beautiful pass through the defensemans legs to a wide open Sid.

Very nice

It appears Caps rookie goalie Simeon Valemov is coming back down to earth after a fast start to his playoff career - very much like Montreal's goalie Carey Price did last year.
Just in time.
It also appears the young 'tender is tiring - he doesn't seem to have the spring in his step like he did when this series started.
The back to back games totally favor the Penguins..

See you tomorrow - should be a good one...if the Pens can pull out the next game, the series is over.
